Application packets must be completed in their entirety by January31 or when spots are filled. You can find the online application form at this link. Applicants must also submit an official college transcript (sent by the Registrar’s office) and a 100 word statement (included on the online application) describing why they wish to study ancient Rome in Rome, and how their participation will relate to their program of study. Priority for positions on the Program is given to students majoring or minoring in degree programs of the UGA Classics Department, and to students with previous academic training in Classics; all admissions decisions will be made immediately after February 28.
A $250 application fee (which will be included toward the program fee) must be submitted to the Program Director as a check, made payable to "UGA Classics Study Abroad in Rome." Due with the application (will be cashed in February). This fee will be refunded if you are not offered a place on the program, but it is non-refundable if you withdraw from the program after being admitted.

First Payment Deadline
The first payment is due March 15.
Final Payment Deadline
The second and final payment is due on April 30.
Students from other institutions should first complete the regular application. Once they have been accepted into the Program, they need to apply to UGA as transient students using this link: http://international.uga.edu/education-abroad/transient-students. The fees will then be charged to their student account.
